I AM DALIA

Dalia Yassin is a Palestinian multidisciplinary artist and sociologist from Sweden, whose work is deeply inspired by the natural and spiritual worlds.

After graduating from Stockholm University and spending several years working in social issues, Dalia pursued her passion for art in Barcelona. There, she studied Modern Arts and Art Therapy at Metafora Art School from 2016 to 2017,  where she created early installations like "Crossing Borders, Crushing Walls," which challenge societal norms and provoke dialogue on identity and resilience.

Dalias early work, primarily oil paintings and watercolors, explores themes

of inner growth, the creative process, and feminine energy, drawing on her rich cultural heritage & the influence of strong women who have shaped her journey.

Recently, Dalia has expanded her artistic practice into the digital realm.

Her latest work is a four-minute animated video created for 30 of Sweden's most prominent artists, accompanying Marit Bergman's 2024 song "Vi bär alla barnen." In the same year, she also designed the Pali pin for ceasefire,

worn by the Swedish Grammy nominees and winners at the Swedish grammy's.

Now based in Spain, Dalia balances her family life with her artistic pursuits. She continues to paint, practice art therapy, work in ceramics and creative social development, helping others unlock their own creativity and flow.
